The 2018 Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) Building Performance Conference, the premier national forum on home energy ratings, existing home retrofits, building codes and energy policy, is Monday and Tuesday at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista.
Founded in 1995, RESNET is as an independent, non-profit organization to help homeowners reduce the cost of their utility bills by making their homes more energy efficient.
This year the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC), the leading certifier of green projects in the state, will be in the Expo Hall at Booth #307. Since 1970, FGBC has certified over 17,000 commercial buildings, single-family residential developments, high-rise residential buildings and local governments “Florida Green.”
The annual conference offers strategic options to industry challenges and provides a venue to learn about the latest solutions from the experts Including technology.

The national training and certification standards for HERS (Home Energy Rating System) Raters and Home Energy Survey Professionals were created by RESNET and are recognized by federal government agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Mortgage Industry.
